At the Cath lab....

~humrp~ tml will be my last day at the cath lab... sianz... they change the whole system including our destined location... ~sighz~ somehow i miss the cath lab.. in the beginning when i was posted to this scary operation lab i got so panicked and stressed up coz the environment there was really tensed and hectic.. can't imagine myself being a blur tortise there.. it was indeed a bit harsh coz we need to do things fast and hastily and of coz not making unneccesary mistakes for the ist few days.. after 2 weeks at the cath lab.. i began to like the place.. we do have stress and scoldings from doctors definitely but we do have our fun and excitement there.. we had our laughing sessions with the seniors, we had our sandwich party, we had gossiping periods in the morning or during breaks.. even the doctors are actually very amiable.. they joked, they disturbed us, they teased us... and certainly the pp there are very nice regardless of anyone.. from the doctors to medical techs to radiographers to nurses to even cleaners.. all so fun to be with.. we get tensed up together gets nervous together when things goes wrong.. we will laughed at each others' stunts example like mi dashing into the operation room without knowing the operation is still on. and for a minute everyone was stunned!! haa... come to think of it its so funny.. when we made a mistake and get scolded by the doctors, the seniors will shield us trying to explain we were only students.. we felt satisfied after every good operation... whenever an operation of PTCA failed, we become a bit depressed.. partly coz we felt sad for the patient and partly coz it takes a long time for such a case!! (haha we are not tat sympathetic after all) when everything is over we will go into our medical technician's room drinking coffee chit chatting and browsing the friendster or stuffs... haiz... suddenly kinda gonna miss cath lab and dread going to other sections(tat is the echo section) we never appreciate wat we have... only to miss it when its gone...this is human nature i guess?? haiz... why must they change again? we are already getting used to the environment and now we have to change again!!! worst.. some of my classmates even book their driving lessons on their non-working days but now everything is messed up.. wat kind of lousy hospital management??
