My flights
I'm back from Melbourne! =) before this mel flight i did 3 turns! oh my goodness. i enjoyed my ist turn- to bangkok very much. all the crew members were helpful and nice. but one day of paradise, the following day of hell. i had my worst flight after that. and i really mean my worst experience of all. the only consolation is i have my galley steward, dave with me. i flew with him during my sny. and because my sny weren't too long ago, and we did hang out together when we were in shanghai, we were comfortable working with each other. the only reason of the really lousy flight which is to dps (bali) was due to one notorious cs. yep everyone heard of him, except for me. it was bad, really bad, but still i told myself it is a good experience to fly with one of the top 10. and i definitely learned how to deal with such people better. after my lousy dps turn, nothing else can be worse. haha. following i did a cmb turn and i am really thankful for the flight. sounds weird ya that i actually prefer colombo turn reporting at 5.05am in the morning with 11hours of working time than my dps turn. now i understand the phrase, "it is not the work that makes the job difficult, it is the crew members who makes it difficult." i can't agree more! i did this colombo turn with our superstar silver. she is superbly nice and amiable. besides her there were many other lovely crew members. i am thankful and blessed. =)
i jus arrived home from melbourne. i didnt hibernate at all. upon arrival in mel at 7pm, we came out for dinner jus at the casino which is jus beside the hotel. by e way the room is beautiful.... but shanghai's millenium is better! =)

basically we were all starved as we literally walked all the way from sin to mel. all the ey crew did not have any meals at all thoughout the flt with the fact we did 2 meal service! it was darn busy! anyway i was on check. my 2nd check! =) and i improved! i am happy and contented! hehe... 5 of us met up and we went for good asian food for dinner at the casino mall. and we had yummulicious ice cream! nice~
its not fair! cindy's cone is so huge! thus michelle and i decided to take another pic to make our cone looks bigger..
hers is still bigger! hurmp...
we sat at the food court for quite a while, chatting before we returned to the hotel ard 11pm.
the following day, i woke up ard 11am and we decided to catch the 12.30pm shuttle service to chinatown. 6 of us went and they showed me the crew joint which we didnt visit.

instead we went for beef ball noodles and broken rice jus a few shops down. as usual we had a good chat and we shopped and walked quite a few streets - russell street, flinders street, queen street, lonsdale street, bourke street aka orchard of mel.

alan and i bought royal jelly capsules for our parents. according to them its cheaper in aussie and new zealand.
not forgetting the tim tam balls as recommended by chloe! yummy! =)
the trip ended around 6pm. our call time was 9pm. we walked back to the hotel because we've missed the shuttle service. the scenary is defnintely worth the 20mins walk. i like the view from the bridge.
i met up with dave, the fs whom i flew with for my sny and the horrendous dps turn =P, jus before my reporting at the hotel lobby. it was kinda funny how we finally meet up.. we had a good laugh though. anyway it was nice seeing him! =) actually i wanted to meet up with jamie too! one of the lovely fss from my 10days moscow-houston trip. but time didnt permit. her rpt is too early and my arrival time was too late.. =( next time ya babe?
this mel flt was a good. i'll be meeting alan in paris next week! as both our set of crew consist of mostly seniors, we doubt that they want to go sightseeing in paris. thus we've arranged to meet.. we want to take a pic with the Eiffel tower! =) can't wait!
