luck is shining on shandy! =)
i was on standby for a day on 24 June 08, tuesday.. i guess its dear's birthday thus i was blessed with a little luck! winks~ i waited from 12am onwards. basically i didnt have a good rest. i called the hotline every 30mins just to ensure i won't be reporting to the gate straight particularly after i've heard chloe's story. finally... at 3pm, i received a new message. i was called up for 7 days seoul- Vancouver! oh my goodness.. the wait was really worthwhile. =) i was really lucky to be called up for this long flight. another blessing from the angels. hehe. the crew were all teasing me cos some of them flew for 5 years, and its their first rostered seoul-vancouver. and which means in a row i will be doing 3 long flights! i just did my 5 days amsterdam, now that i've done my 7days seoul-vancouver, next on my roster will be 6 days rome. suddenly.. i realize i'm beginning to love standbys! they give me pleasant surprises. =) i had a good 7 days with my lovely crew members. we worked 3 sectors, and pax back on the last. so it means holiday mood from the 3rd sector onwards~ the feeling is great ya... first stop in seoul, JP, dave, siwefang and me went shopping and sightseeing. we had some drinks at the hotel bar too.
after a day of sightseeing, JP and i decided to go for some crazy shopping! phew~ i spent a bomb again. but it is so hard to resist the 40% storewide sale in tommy hilfiger. =x
then back to seoul, i jus love korean food so much.... yummy.. anyway upon touch down, we changed and chiong to lottemart, the well known crew joint for supermarketting. i bought 14 masks from faceshop, it is dirt cheap can! hehe.. and i topped up my drystore. everything looks good... i almost cant walk back to the hotel. kekez.. then after loading the items into our rooms, we went for drinks. =) my beer belly is bulging out~ help!
