on 11 sep 08, i woke up early at 7am to set off to batam. =) dear booked the harris resort in batam for my birthday while i am happily shopping in taipei. ~and to think that i said i have no home sick at all then. guilty.. hehe~ i'm was sooo looking forward to the 3 hours spa that he booked which includes whole body scrub, foot reflexology, full body massage, jaccuzzi and sauna. its soo nice. i wished i can do it monthly. hehe. after the fulfilling spa, we went to nagoya shopping centre, known as the biggest shopping mall in batam. following, we headed to golden prawn 555 kelong for a sumptous seafood dinner.. the seafood is soooo darn cheap and fresh. this is my virgin experience dining in a kelong. =) we then went back to the resort and dear brought me outside our room which was just in front of the sea. he set fireworks for me! mind you.. its not fire crackers, nor just sparkle sticks, they were real fireworks! though it is miniature as compared to the ones we have for national day.. hah... they were still higher than the trees when it went off. and there were 48 different shots. of cos these are illegal in s'pore, so we can only play it there. nice~ i was so scared and shocked that i only managed to take a few photos when the fireworks were ending. but still we had fun. hehe. then we headed back to our room and we did some facial masks. it was such a good getaway for shandy. even though i travel very often, but still the companion makes the difference. i want to hold my dear's hand till old. =) i always looked at him and a tot will run through my mind, "as long as he is around, everythin else doesnt matter." thank you for everything all my loved ones, bf, sister, angela, my family, darling ting, jasmine, kate, hui and all my frens who had their birthday greetings sent across! =) my bestie ting actually surprised me with a bouquet of 18 beautiful roses delivered to my place on my 12 sep! ~touched~
