manchester
this is the last flight for my 6 months probation. =) times files. 6 months flew past in a blink of an eye. goodness. i can say it has been a good 6 months. i think i am addicted to this job, addicted to flying, addicted to be away from home, addicted to mess up the hotel room and addicted to sightsee places of interest everywhere in the world. i love travelling, i love exploring, i begin to love this job of mine. neverthessless i do have real lousy flights sometimes, terrible dark eye circles and poor dehydrated skin. there is always a price to pay behind the glamours. i enjoy flying not solely because of the perks like i get to travel around the globe, but i think i've grown after i started flying. the dependent shandy is not afraid to be alone anymore, the paranoid shandy learns to embrace, the unreasonable shandy learns to appreciate everyone is different, the short tempered shandy knows the secrets to hide anger, the irrational shandy learns to manipulate emotions better, the clumsy shandy... is still clumsy hehe, but is improving every day. shandy learns to be polite, shandy learns to be thoughtful, shandy learns to be humble and shandy learns to share. all because of this unique job. i will not say it is a fantastic job, but definitely a job that will make you grow.
anyway back to this flight. this is my ist time into uk, everything is expensive because it is in pounds, 3x of singapore currency. nevertheless the big departmental store primark makes shandy goes crazy. hehe. i spend a good S$450 for this 5 days flight to manchester.
we visited the manchester united stadium. too bad there wasnt a match on the day we were there.
i'll be doing melbourne in 3days time, then i'll be off to japan tokyo on 15 oct - 21 oct for holiday with bf and frens. yuppee! can't wait.
