i did a penang turn, was reasonably good, at least for me. however, i witnessed the tough fate for a 3rd solo girl. argh. many a time, i wanted to shield her from the torture. but seriously there isn't much i can do, especially when i'm not working in the same zone as her and we are told not to help her at all. even if it is within our assigned duties, he wanted her to do everything alone and rapidly. he said "I want to train her." arent helping one another part of the work too? there are many ways to teach, and many ways to learn. sometimes pushing too hard backfires. mutual respect is also part of learning. we learn from one another, even till our hair turn grey and our face wrinkle up. it is a pen-ams linked flight for them, and poor her was simply traumatised. i just hope she can take it positively and learn faster the hard way hopefully.

i started the day, smiling, extremely happy because i was still elated over the fact i'm called up for a short turn! haha. everything was good, till i see the nasty side of humans. i told myself to maintain my cool. and i did. still cheery after flight, i told myself i did enjoy work despite all the injustice i've witnessed.

i took a quick change into civilian clothes, and i hit the train to tanjong pagar. had a hard time searching for the hall, but i was there safely to watch zhenghua's band concert. bf, ting and zheren was there to give their sincere support for hao since 7pm. i arrived at 8.30pm. i tried my best alright.. i always enjoy band concerts, it brings back lovely memories, the days we had in school. =) after the concert ended, 5 of us headed for supper at east coast, then we met up with sean and suzanne for the movie IP man at ang mo kio hub. thumbs up! it is a pretty good movie.

i'm having some emotional rides lately. extreme happiness and extreme sadness can co-exist in a day. i think it is symptom of needing a long flight soon. at times, i need to be away for a while. that's the perk of my job. i get paid to travel and i get to do it whenever i need a getaway badly. how nice.

we're having kate's birthday celebration at avril's place tonight. and i'm off to milan tommorrow. hooray, can't wait.
