India - mumbai (bombay)
the 2 days pattern of my team flight to bombay, little did i expect i will accomplish so much in a day. =) it was a fulfilling day and a heartwarming flight.
first we arrived at gateway of india after 1.5hours of taxi drive.
then people swarmed towards us, because we were the only 2 in the fair tone of skin.
we just did not bother about them, and i even did my all time fav jump shot in front of the gateway of india.
and that is taj mahal hotel, which was attacked by terrorist in nov 2008, killing a number if innocents, including our dearest s'porean lawyer.
i love this shot, depicts life at a corner of the world, india.
the man keeps selling me this. what the hell is it?!
and there came another man, selling me some photos. but i think i love my didtal camera more. =p

imagine yourself being caught up in the room.. omg.
the lobby is beautiful, you can hardly picture the scene when the terrorist attacked.
the memorial for the victims of the bomb attacked nov 2008, but i cant find our s'porean lawyer's name.
yes, singapore airlines used to stay in this beautiful taj mahal hotel. its a blessing that we changed before the attack happened. we have flights to bombay everyday. i dont even want to think of the consequence.
we decided to take a boat to the elephanta caves. the ticket says luxury launch... but........
the boat is erm... interesting.
along the journey, we saw the indians doing their routine fishing.

after 1 hour boating, we arrived at elephanta caves
according to the tour guide, the locals love having picnics at this place.

the goat looks different.
as i walked, at least 7 people asked to have a picture with me. haha. i should charging them. =x erm... but i dont mind having a picture with the local kids though.

i just wanted a picture with the sign, the 3 ladies came into the picture, put a pot on my head and asked me for $$. -_-

back to the hotel, we had a celebration for our ifs simon boo. its his last flight after 39years with sia.
yes its not an end, but a new beginning.

we were the first set of crew to stay in this hotel, they even had a welcome ceremony for us. haha.
before we leave the hotel, hennie and i want a picture with the guards.
and after the flight, we had another/last celebration with simon. it was one of the most heartwarming flight. the captain made an announcement to all the pax it was simon's last flight after 39years. of course simon is so nice, he walked down the whole cabin and gave almost all pax a hug or handshake. all cheered for him too. it was a scene, funny, but heartwarming in a way. all the best simon. =)
