Shanghai
It has been 6months since i went to shanghai, the last time was with dearie donna. =) this time i enjoyed myself too, with a nice set of crew, other than erm.... =x. but thank goodness i worked in forward galley of economy class for both sectors, and i've a lovely chief stewardess. she makes our day!
Anyway upon touchdown in shanghai, 3 of us took a 30mins cab drive to qi pu lu. it is a famous shopping district, but its so chaotic and crowded that none of us buy anything. but it is definitely an eye-opener for us. interesting....
we thought the food looks not too bad, when we finally pluck the courage to try...
the police came, and they ran away... hahah.
then we decided to try the chicken satays at the stalls that were permanent and need not run when the police comes.
that's keagan with the satays. Keagan reminds me of yong zheng. haha. anyway these chicken satays tasted weird. we concluded it may be rat's meat. -_-
they're cooking on the street, cool!
and washing along the streets too.
its external doesnt look good, but there is a feast party inside.
they repair bicycles along the street too, with the most traditional way which can only be found 40years ago in s'pore.
and then they carry a bamboo of wintercoats, (cant imagine how heavy it is.), anyway yea they are selling them.
oh this rundown place contains gem. =) haha. the food is nice and the stall owners were one of the nicest i've met in shanghai.
there the 2 of them at the backdrop, they are soooo nice, well mannered, polite and great service. my colleague said, "they are soaring!" lol
choose your ingredients for your noodles. =)
the slums? which is gonna be demolished soon according to the stall owners.
the yummylicious noodles.

back to my hotel, while waiting for my 3 hours massage, took some pictures. lovely hotel! all-time favourite since my sny flight with jenn. =)
and then a good dinner after massage before i hit the sack. and what else, its my special hor fun.
