I just returned from the airport, but this time it was not from work, but fetching bf's family who just touched down. They went for a holiday trip to hongkong. bf and i made my very nice bestie, aka everybody's family friend, my dearest avril to be one of the chauffeur because we need to drive 2 cars to the airport. hmmm... i think its time to start learning how to drive after procrastinating for 6 years. i had my basic theory test 6 years ago when i just turned 18. now i am already 24. omg omg.

While approaching our destination, i suddenly realised how good it feels to see the airport knowing i am not reporting for work. 2 years ago before i was with the airlines, whenever i see someone off, or bring someone home from the airport, or flying off for a holiday, the feeling was pleasing. The little excitement, with a pinch of eagerness, the feeling was always unexplanatory good. i have no idea when it started, now i dread going to the airport. i wanted so much to keep the fond feelings i had when i was young; the sight of the air traffic control tower after a long journey from my home in jurong because it means i am reaching! the feeling should be kept beautiful not a compound of dread and unhappiness. suddenly the urge of leaving my job revisit me again. =(

i am watching a taiwan series lately, it speaks about love and the obstacles in a relationship. then it brings me thinking about mine. bf and i have been officially an item for nearing 6 years. The portion of the story before the 6 years was not a very pleasant one, we did not started off well. however because it was not easy for us to be together, i cherish this relationship more. we almost lose each other 6 years back, but god gave us a second chance. as much as i feared to be into it then, i told myself to give it a last try when he popped the question to me again. i still remembered how he made his love confession to me; in the dark and windy pulau ubin, in front of the sea, he showed me a drafted sms on his phone. =) till now i have not regretted my decision, in fact i am very glad i did not forbid myself from falling in love with him again. i do not even want to think how my life will be without bf's presence. he has succesfully became part of my life. he taught me a lot of things and i became very dependent on him over the years. once in a while we still bicker and argue. i still scream at him sometimes, and he still ignores me occasionally. but i will never let him go again because i am certain he will be the man of my life. life is full of ups and downs, things changed, people changed but memories stay. whenever we have major disagreement with each other, i will remind myself of the hard times we braved through and asked myself, "what can be worse? what else cannot be solve?" every problem has a solution. every relationship has problems. it is not about finding the right person, but learning to love the person you have found.

it seems we have come to the stage where everyone is asking when is our turn to ring the wedding bells. we have plans but we do not need to announce. everybody have different perception for marriage, as long as bf and i work on the same path for our future. =)
